Sims 3 PC or Xbox 360?

I havent really been keeping up with the Sims games for a while, my last Sims game was Sims Bustin’ Out for the Xbox and Gamecube (dont know why i had both). Anyway, I know how games sometimes have added things you can do on PC, like mods and such, I know Fallout 3 was kind of like that and i sort of regretted getting it for the 360 instead of PC. I was wondering if both or neither will have multiplayer, if so which one you think will perform better, and I was also wondering if you think PC would be smarter gameplay wise. I do enjoy the feel of Sims games on 360 though, and I really dont want to get it on the PC because if its soley fullscreen I wont be able to play it and still talk to my girlfriend and all my friends. Price comparison, and system requirements would help in my decision too, which one should I get?
im also wondering if I could install and play the game on many other computers, because I know a couple family members and friends who would like to play.
