Verizon Fios vs Comcast?

We currently have Comcast Triple Play, and want to switch to Fios (the triple play also) when our contract is up. Main reason being is for the TV - multi-room DVR sounds heavenly. They don’t have it out here yet, but it is coming very soon - they’ve been working on it a while. Comcast is offering all sorts of stuff for free in fear of everyone switching to Fios.

My question is: which is better, all around? I’d much prefer it if you have had both in the past. Also, a price comparison would be nice. ($99 is only for new customers… Comcast said we might be paying $170 soon.)
