There is a price comparison index called the “Bic Mac Index” - rumours has it that there is also a “Coca-Cola Index” - but could not find any proof on that. Have you heard of a Coca-Cola-Index? Do you have any links to information on it?

Costco Price List?
Filed Under Other - Business & Finance | 1 Comment
Costco is not always the cheapest place to buy things……..I’m looking for a price list of Costco items so that it is easier for me to comparison shop.
i.e. I know that a box of Cup of Noodles comes down to 25 cents a cup at Costco, but 23 cents at Walmart.
Does anybody know where I can get a general price list of Costco items, since their items generally do not go on sale?
I’m looking for mostly food items (Case of yogurt, the 4 pack of Tropicana OJ, the 2 pack of milk, etc), but any suggestions help.
THANKS.

How much do billionaires rely on their share values for their massive fortunes?
Filed Under Other - Business & Finance | 1 Comment
I.e. would Bill Gates lose a lot of dough if Microsoft’s stock crashed? He’s worth around $56 billion, but only has a salary of around $966,000, so obviously his shares are worth quite a lot, also dictating his wealth; Wikipedia says- “In 1999, Gates’s wealth briefly surpassed $100 billion causing him to be referred to in the media as a “centibillionaire”.[51] Since 2000, the nominal value of his Microsoft holdings has declined due to a fall in Microsoft’s stock price after the dot-com bubble and the multi-billion dollar donations he has made to his charitable foundations.”
So basically, how much actual cash and other properties do these people have in comparison to the market value of their stocks? Would they still be billionaires if their shares became worthless? Hope that all makes sense….thanks x
