Comparison shopping for over the counter medicine - who has the best retail prices?

When it comes to Vitamins, supplements, cold medicines, pain relievers, etc. where have you found the best prices? I don’t want to shop online so I’m asking for your experiences with retail outlets.
Target? Walmart? grocery stores? Osco? Walgreens? Sam’s club? other?
I realize that there will be variables across the country and for different medicines but I’d like to take a survey of what your experiences have been with pricing. If distance were not an issue - where would you shop for these items?
