A rather odd comparison between two DSLRs?

I would like somebody experienced in DSLRs to make a side-by-side comparison between the old 6000$ Nikon D1X launched in 2001 and the Olympus E-410 from 2007. Making abstraction of their very different price tags and release years, how do they compare performance and feature-wise. Most serious answerer will get “Best Answer” and 5 stars.

Here is your side-by-side look at those two cameras
You will notice that the Olympus has a smaller sensor and you will also notice that the features found on DSLR’s change drastically as time goes on … just look at the differences between the Nikon D2x and D3x
