Auto insurance is something we all must have, but we don’t have to pay a fortune for it. That’s why it’s so important to shop around and find the best policy to fit your needs and budget. An online auto insurance comparison can help you do just that, quickly and without hassle.
Auto insurance companies differ in what they offer, their coverage, and how much they charge. They each have their own rules when it comes to age, driving records, points, and policy changes or adjustments. So a quick online car insurance comparison can save you hundreds, or maybe even thousands, of dollars. It can also help you get exactly what you need, not too little and not too much insurance coverage.
Price Comparison for Car Insurance Online
Price is usually at the top of the list when comparing auto insurance online. Insurance premiums can differ a great deal from one company to the next, so it’s a good idea to compare pricing. Just a simple click of the mouse can usually reveal quotes from a variety of major auto insurance companies. When considering price, also consider the type of coverage you will receive for the money as well as the reputation of the company. There are many horror stories from consumers who thought they were getting a great deal on car insurance only to find out they’d been taken by a dishonest company.
The result: They couldn’t get their claim processed when they needed it most.
Don’t overdo it. Be sure to get the car insurance coverage you need, and nothing more. Find out your state’s minimum requirement and use this as a guideline. Don’t purchase more than you need, but be sure you have enough coverage to meet the state’s requirement.
Types of Coverage: Liability, Comprehensive, and Collision
Before choosing car insurance online based on price alone, be sure to compare the types of coverage offered for that price. Consider the amount of coverage you will receive for liability, comprehensive, and collision coverage. Liability is the coverage of a car or person harmed during an accident that is found to be your fault. Even if you are normally a very safe, cautious driver, accidents can happen unexpectedly.
Before determining how much liability you’ll need, consider your own personal assets. If an accident was to occur and the medical bills of the injured exceed your liability coverage, that person could sue you for your personal assets to cover their expenses. On the other hand, if you don’t have many personal assets, you might want to get the minimal coverage required by your state. Consider, however, that the limits of uninsured or underinsured motorist coverage cannot exceed the liability coverage limits.
Collision insurance will cover damage to your car in an accident that is your fault or deemed to be a no-fault accident. Collision is usually not required on older cars that are paid for, but it can be invaluable if you’re susceptible to accidents due to poor driving habits or if you travel often.
Comprehensive coverage will cover damage to your car in the case of accidents not related to an automobile accident. Your car might get a broken windshield from flying debris on the road or it might be damaged by a fire, flood, wind, and so forth. This also covers car theft. Comprehensive coverage is not required by a state, but is required by a lien holder if you owe a debt on your vehicle.
Consider Deductibles
During an online auto insurance comparison, look for differences in price according to the deductible. A deductible is the amount you are required to pay before the insurance coverage kicks in. For example, a deductible of $1,000 means you will have to pay this amount out-of-pocket before the insurance coverage will begin. Anything over $1,000 will be covered by the insurance company up to your limited coverage amount. Choosing a higher deductible can bring the premium down substantially.
Before committing to an online car insurance company, check out references, the Better Business Bureau, and ask around in discussion forums to find out how the company fares once claims are submitted. Also, read the policy carefully and get a printed copy before you start making payments.
Use this guide to do helpful online auto insurance comparisons and find the right insurance company for you quickly and easily.

I keep tabs on the economy and I am aware of the current climate here in the UK regarding house prices. I realise it is a fools time to buy for most people. I am willing to put money where my mouth is and take a risk for the right deal but need financial backing.
With the ever shrinking available loans available, are there any up to date price comparison websites or up to date advice for a 95%-100% mortgage at 3-3.5x income?
An easy 10 pts and our thanks for someone who can point us in the right direction:)

Buying a used car with lower miles or with rebuilt engine?
Filed Under Buying & Selling | 2 Comments
So im looking into buying an old fox body mustang (1990-1993) and Im trying to weigh the price comparison between some that i have seen with lower mileage and those ive seen with a rebuilt engine and/or ******. basically for $10-12,000 I’ve seen cars with under 25K miles. on the flip side ive seen cars with over 100K miles that have rebuilt engines and trannys selling for half that. around $5-6000.
so obviously the condition of the rest of the car on the high mileage ones would come into play but im still trying to figure in my mind if the money for the barely driven like new car is worth the extra over the high mileage ones that are all rebuilt.
lookin for some opinions here. thanks.

Personal experience with these dog foods?
Filed Under Dogs | 4 Comments
Hello all,
I’ve decided to upgrade my dogs’ food, and today I went all over town to 6 different stores doing price comparison shopping of different dog food products. Two foods in particular have peaked my interest: Diamond Naturals, and Chicken Soup for the Dog Lover’s Soul. Both of these are free of corn, wheat, and soy, and both are very much within my price range (one more-so than the other, but that’s not the point of this question). What I would like to know, does anyone here have any PERSONAL experience with either of these foods? How did your dogs do on it? Did they seem to like the taste? How did their coats look? Please don’t direct me to any websites like dogfoodanalysis.com or anything; I’ve been there, and I’ve read the reports. I’d just like some real life opinions before I make a decision. And please, if all you’re going to do is tell me to feed Innova or Wellness or even raw, please save it; I can’t afford that much. I know what everything costs in my area, and this is what I’ve come up with. Thanks in advance for the input!
Oh, and in case anyone needs to know for the sake of their opinion, I have a Brittany and a standard Dachshund. Thanks!
T J – Yes, I saw that.
Apparently Diamond Pet Foods owns a lot of dog food brands, including Taste of the Wild.

These days, there is a lot of competitions among service providers, whether these are energy suppliers, or mobile service providers or anything else. Service providers offer best services for handsome profit. For the cause of profit, these service providers try to give good services as well as reasonable prices to draw more and more customers. However, it is advisable that people should select the products or service after complete analysis of quality as well as price. The various online sites thus help in price comparison in UK.
There was a time when everything was done manually. People used to compare the price by visiting different shops, checking different price lists etc. But now, in the age of telecommunication, technology has made everything simple. The things, for which, we had to visit shop to shop, can be brought from home within a few minutes with the help of Internet. Most of the service providers have the facility whereby people can check and compare prices of commodities on their websites. Apart from this, there are many price comparison sites that provide the list of such service providers and where people can also know the prices of items that they want to buy. To avail the best, you can make an extensive price comparison in UK for the right product you are desirous to possess.
Let us take the instances of some service providers and product sellers. In the first case, let us take the example of energy providers. Energy providers seem to be very active in providing their services through Internet. Many price comparison sites give the facilities to enter Postcode of the city to get the list of energy suppliers. These websites also ask the users to enter information about present energy suppliers that include payment methods and present consumption. After entering all the information, price comparison of different providers can be done easily. Most of these websites not only have the provision to compare the energy prices, but electricity prices can also be compared from the same sites. In this way, these websites serve as multipurpose sites. Moreover, prices can also be compared by visiting directly to the official websites of these service providers, but price comparison sites are more reliable.
Another thing, which is in daily usage of people today, is mobile phone. Mobile phones have become the basic necessity and is also a status symbol these days. People who have the craze to purchase new mobile phones, know about the newly launched models, their features, prices etc, can visit these sites for authentic information. To help people meet these purposes, Price Comparison sites and some other websites specifically focused on mobiles are doing the good work. Some of such sites provide the complete list of handsets as well as services with their price range. This helps customers to compare the price of different models instantly and that actually helps them to effectively select the best phone. Another service provided by these websites is to compare the features of each model, so that decision could be taken after complete analysis.Internet has proven to be a boon for sale and purchase of almost all the products and services. It has made life simple and people are able to save a lot of time and energy in this busy world.

Car insurance advice?
Filed Under Insurance & Registration | 1 Comment
Hi all I’m currently with More Than and i’m due to renew my insurance within the next week. The problem is i’m not sure if you report a chipped windscreen as a claim??
I’ve had my renewal from More Than which has 3 claims for past year on!!.I’ve had little chip’s repaired on my fiesta (seperate incidents) from when the roads round where i live where redone. On both occasions it involved speeding motorist that have sprayed up grit!!.Both times i went to a local Auto Glass down at my local supermarket and had it sorted. The other claim was when I was in a accident in April This year, which wasn’t my fault & which the other party has accepted liability for.
I’ve noticed on price comparison sites that if i add the 3 claims i can no longer protect my no claims bonus which stands at 5 years!!

I am planning to get an iPod touch in replacement of my first generation iPod Nano 4GB.
I want to know if the 8GB or 16GB is better for me.
I will probably hold 300-750 songs at once, but it might go higher.
I want to download many apps that will be fun, entertaining and handy.
I plan to use Wi-Fi, Facebook and all that stuff.
Should I get the 8GB or the 16GB
[I live in Canada, where would be a price comparison of the two?]
Please help, thanks.

Selling online is no easy feat especially in a growing online market. Gone are the days when just having a website meant that you stood a chance of selling your products, to gain good visibility you must consider the following:
SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) Social Media PPC (Pay Per Click) campaigns
Once you have started to become visible and attract visitors you really need to think about what they will experience once there and what they will expect. You will want to get your conversion rate as high as possible because there really is no point in attracting a thousand visitors and selling only one item.
Here are the top five tips for successful selling online:
Price Comparison
The internet is like no other place as customers can make many price comparisons on the same product from different retailers in minutes. This makes your price very important indeed because if you are one of the highest selling prices online you will not get many sales. By simply performing weekly price comparisons you can check exactly what your competitors are up to and adjust your prices and offers accordingly.
Free Delivery
Consider offering free delivery to your customers, this way they won’t get a nasty sting when they go to checkout. Most people leave the checkout area if they deem a delivery charge to be too high. The free delivery charge can be factored into your selling price if it hits your bottom margin too much but be careful to not break tip number one in the process.
Checkout Options
Give the customer checkout options such as PayPal, Google checkout and World Pay. Customers may already have an online account with merchants such as PayPal and they may even have credit. This gives them the option of a one or two click checkout adding speed to your websites process.
Good Product Range & Sizes
This goes without saying; if your product range is poor then you will struggle. You need to be able to offer many products in many ranges to keep customers engaged in the website. The other issue is having good stock levels of sizes so that customers can get what they need. This isn’t always possible but the better your stock the more sales you will get; you cannot run it on a shoe string.
Contact Details
Let your customers trust you by offering as many contact points as possible, this can be email addresses, telephone numbers, contact forms and even live help. The more options given the more the customer thinks “Well if something goes wrong there are lots of ways to get hold of them”. Build trust and rapport with your customers even if you cannot see them and they will come back in future and also tell their friends of their great experience.
