I’m about to buy a 1997 BMW 328i for $4,300 but it has 160,000 miles. Other than that, it does not have any other issues I believe.

I know BMWs tend to survive longer, but is the price and mileage comparison a “good” deal in the end? Thanks.

When you file your Income Tax return you list date of purchase and cost of the stock purchase. Other than your honest response how does the IRS know if the amount is correct. Price and date can be compared but with multiple purchases you can list various as the date eliminating that direct comparison. Since the IRS is not known for a high level of trust I have often wondered how they check.

Here’s the deal. Researchers at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada found a cheap and easy to produce drug that kills almost all cancers. The drug is dichloroacetate, and since it is already used to treat metabolic disorders, we know it should be no problem to use it for other purposes.

The drug also has no patent, which means it could be produced for bargain basement prices in comparison to what drug companies research and develop.

Scientists tested DCA on human cells cultured outside the body where it killed lung, ****** and brain cancer cells, but left healthy cells alone. Rats plump with tumors shrank when they were fed water supplemented with DCA.

Cancer cells don’t use the little power stations found in most human cells - the mitochondria. Instead, they use glycolysis, which is less effective and more wasteful.

Doctors have long believed the reason for this is because the mitochondria were damaged somehow.
But, it turns out the mitochondria were just dormant, and DCA starts them back up again.

The side effect of this is it also reactivates a process called apoptosis. You see, mitochondria contain an all-too-important self-destruct button that can’t be pressed in cancer cells. Without it, tumors grow larger as cells refuse to be extinguished. Fully functioning mitochondria, thanks to DCA, can once again die.

With glycolysis turned off, the body produces less lactic acid, so the bad tissue around cancer cells doesn’t break down and seed new tumors.

Here’s the big catch. Pharmaceutical companies probably won’t invest in research into DCA because they won’t profit from it. It’s easy to make, unpatented and could be added to drinking water. Imagine, Gatorade with cancer control.

So, the groundwork will have to be done at universities and independently funded laboratories. But, how are they supposed to drum up support if the media aren’t even talking about it?
too find out more u can go look up Dca on google ill try to get the link from where i copied this info from.

please look at this site : www.goodlifefoundation.com for all kinds of ways to get rid of all kinds of diseases
this site is run by a German Dr and to the person who lost his Father im sorry for your loss.
the original research:
www.depmed.ualberta.ca/dca
and the news report which i copied and pasted

The University of Alberta and the Alberta Cancer Board are committed to performing clinical trials in the immediate future in consultation with regulatory agencies such as Health Canada.

but in America i dont think its even being looked at by the FDA and even if it was looked at it would take 7 years to get FDA approval for use.
i didn’t write the article

thats the link to it David McRaney wrote it but i agree with him.
wow you say u can actually buy that online cool, well there are plenty of “alternative” treatments
http://www.goodlifefoundation.com/
has a few of them. they are all non drug so it probably won’t affect your chemo but ask ur doctor
one important part of the article to look at is
“Cancer cells don’t use the little power stations found in most human cells - the mitochondria. Instead, they use glycolysis, which is less effective and more wasteful.

Doctors have long believed the reason for this is because the mitochondria were damaged somehow. But, it turns out the mitochondria were just dormant, and DCA starts them back up again.”

Even if the drug itself won’t be used in America you’d think we would at least use the part where it debunks a former theory of doctors in which mitochondria are damaged beyond repair, do you think these doctors have come upon some sort of good luck or something? they just happened to find the right drug, i doubt it was very lucky, just very smart to think hey maybe we are wrong on some cancer facts lets give this a try and boom it worked so whats really going on is they pay for false medical reports to debunk any cure.

I’m looking for new cars right now, as my 1996 Toyota Camry seems like it might die pretty soon (at 160k). I know that it would be smart to stick with Toyota, as this one has run well for 13 years now with almost no maintenance, but I really really want a beetle. I don’t want to feel stupid for essentially choosing cuteness over performance, so I’m trying to validate it by finding a really good deal. My question is:

2004 Camry or 2004 Volkswagen Beetle, both have 40k, both have one owner, everything is the same. How much lower would the Beetle have to be for you to not feel like an idiot for picking it?

Does anyone know the difference performance-wise between these 2 models? I have seen a comparison chart but I couldn’t find anything that would explain the price difference…
I am looking for a handheld GPS unit that would load topographical maps on it (for hiking).
Any recommendation would be much appreciated!
Thanks a lot!

When we went, I didnt see any differences in price. Everything in there was 16-20 grand per usual.
