What is the difference if the government sets a price floor of $5 and a target price of $5 ???? Don’t the product still sell for $5 either way? They are not giving me any other price, just two scenarios where one is the price floor of $5 and one is the target price $5. Should be the same right?

How much do different power plants cost?

Coal
Oil
Gas
Nuclear
Hydro
Wind
Solar
Take into account subsidies, capacity factor, etc. so that it’s a fair comparison.
Total price is no good if you don’t know the typical usable power output.
This is about the cost required to produce a kW-hr of electrical energy from each different type of power plant, and nothing more. Solar is 5 times as expensive as wind, for instance. Please provide references.
